Background:
By limits of the Treaty 1960 of the establishment which created the Republic independent of Cyprus, Ru maintained full sovereignty and jurisdiction more than two surfaces with almost 254 square kilometres on the whole: Akrotiri and Dhekelia. Largest of the latter is the sovereign low area of Dhekelia, which also indicated under the name of Eastern low sovereign sector.
